Pipe guides are designed to insure pipe alignment. Pipe guides will restrict lateral pipe movement while allowing for movement along the pipe axis. Pipe guides ensure proper operation of expansion devices and protect the pipe integrity when using pipe loops, bellow joints, and slip type expansion joints. The pipe guide assembly consists of an anchored housing and a sliding “spider” which moves through the housing as the piping system expands and contracts.
